corn speedwell grows in sunny spots with poor soil, usually in disturbed areas as well as lawns. its leaves and flowers are very small! it seems like it usually grows lower to the ground than some of the ones in our lawn; a few sites mentioned it being inconspicuous and easily-missed as a result.
